A 19-year-old driver swerves to miss a deer and winds up flipping his car end over end.

A 19-year-old driver swerves to miss a deer and winds up flipping his car end over end.

David Young with the Hillsville Fire Department sent us these pictures of the scene. He tells 10 On Your Side it happened just before 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening on Oakgrove Road in Carroll County.

The driver says a deer ran out in front of his car, he swerved to miss the animal but hit an embankment. That’s when his car flipped end over end until i landed on it’s wheels facing the other direction.

The driver was not hurt. State Police are investigating.
