Three car crash sends two to hospital

A man is airlifted to a North Carolina hospital after a three car crash in Galax.

David Young with the Hillsville Fire Department tells 10 On Your Side that Perry Nester pulled into the path of a Mustang, t-boning his car.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to get Nester out of the car. He was trapped for about half an hour.

The pictures show what is left of the car.

Young says Nester pulled out into the path of a Mustang, hit the Mustang and then slammed into an SUV.

Nester was air lifted to Wake Forest Hospital. The driver of the Mustang was taken to the hospital in Galax. There is no word on their injuries.

State Police are investigating.
