Three escape serious injuries in I-77 accident

A tractor trailer slams into the back of a car on Interstate 77.
David Young with the Hillsville Fire Department tells us it happened this afternoon in Carroll County.
Luckily, the three people riding in the car were not seriously hurt.
One was taken to Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax.
The driver of a van in front of the car says that he was stopped for road construction when the accident happened behind him.
State Police are investigating.

I started to get on 77 when I seen traffic back up. I went on thru Hillsville come down 52. They should have had a cop at the exit getting people off 77 to go thru Hillsville going to Fancy Gap to get back on 77.
