While police work to recreate the accident that killed construction worker Richard Slone last Wednesday, Tracie Nininger and Jeffrey Dupree are both out of jail on bond.

Nininger is out on $50 thousand bond.

    Dupree’s bond is $6 thousand.

Both are charged with DUI and Involuntary Manslaughter.

According to court documents, Nininger and Dupree are required to submit daily drug and alcohol tests.

Nininger also has to blow into an Ignition Interlock System, which insures she isn’t intoxicated before getting behind the wheel, and she’s facing a 9pm curfew.

In the meantime, police were back out at the scene of the accident Monday, recreating the crash.

“It’s basically forensic mapping,“ Roanoke County Officer Mike Christian said.

Officers blocked the right lane of 419 and took measurements for about 45 minutes.

Police used specialized forensic equipment to speed up the investigative process.

“No matter time of day, this road is very dangerous,“ he said.  “If we had to be out here with tape measures, it would probably take us 3 or 4 hours.  This basically does a computerized drawing of the scene from the marks we put on the road the night of the crash.“

Police also confirmed Monday they’re looking into what they call “bars of interest” that Nininger and Dupree may have visited before the accident.

The bars are located in downtown Roanoke.
