Virginia Tech employee shoots himself on campus

Virginia Tech Police were called to Cassel Coliseum in response to a disturbance at 2:15 Saturday afternoon.
Police found that a university employee had shot himself.
He has been transported to Roanoke for care and police are on the scene investigating.
Police say there is no iminent threat to the university or Blacksburg community.
