Amherst County deputies make an arrest in a weekend murder case.
Investigators charged Timothy Wright Jr. with shooting and killing 19-year-old Justin Baumgardner this past Sunday.
Officers say they found Baumgardner shot to death in his pick-up truck in a driveway in the 3000 block of Elon Road, around 8:00 a.m. on May 4th.
Wright faces charges of felony murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting into an occupied vehicle, shooting frm a vehicle, and grand larceny.
Officers arrested Wright in the Mountain View Shopping Center in the town of Amherst, shortly before 5:00 p.m.
Wright is being held in the Amherst County Jail pending a hearing.
