Campbell County convenience store robbed

A Campbell County walk-in market was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
No one was injured in the robbery of the Quik-E Food Store on Waterlick Road.
According to Lt. S. W. Helmintoller of Campbell County Sheriff’s Department, the man displayed a handgun and after the robbery left the area on foot.
He was described as a thin white male, wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and a white baseball cap.
Helmintoller said that more information would be available after review of the security tapes.
