A wreck on Seminole Drive in Madison Heights on Sunday evening sent one man to the hospital.

Trooper D.T. Milton of the Virginia State Police said a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000 driven by Robert Wesley Miller went off Seminole Drive at about 8:20 p.m. and struck a tractor-trailer occupied by Angus Thomas.

The tractor-trailer was parked in the driveway of 406 Seminole Drive. Thomas had just started the vehicle.

Miller, who was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital with a head injury, is charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain control of his vehicle and driving without a seat belt. Milton said Miller was alert but did not know his condition.

Thomas was not injured.
