A bank break-in caught on camera.
Amherst County investigators are looking for someone they say broke a window at the back of the Carter Bank and Trust building at 4498 South Amherst Highway in Madison Heights early Wednesday morning.
Officers tell us the surveillance video shows a single person smash the window around 12:45 a.m. That person then climbs through the window, walk through the bank, take rolls of change, and walk out the broken window.
Officers describe the burglar at being tall and thin, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white tennis shoes.
If you have any information, call Central Virginia Crimestoppers at 1-888-798-5900.
