Lynchburg police search for robbery suspect

The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery Saturday night.
Police say it happened at the Sunoco Fast Mart in the 2100 block of 12th Street around 11:15 p.m.
A store employee told police a male approximately 5’10” wearing jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a red bandanna pulled over his face came into the store and then robbed the store at gun point.
The suspect was last seen headed toward 12th Street on foot.
