Man arrested in Lynchburg stabbing

Police in Lynchburg arrest a man for stabbing another man in the chest in the parking lot of a local restaurant.

Police in Lynchburg arrest a man for stabbing another man in the chest in the parking lot of a local restaurant.

Officers were called around 1:54 a.m. Saturday to the parking lot of Mudpuppy’s on Old Forest Road. The say A 24-year-old man was stabbed with a knife. That man was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital before police got to the scene. He is in stable condition with a stab wound to the chest.

Police officers arrested 31-year-old James Corelius Scott Jr. of Lynchburg. He is charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
