Obama spoke inside a packed gym at E.C. Glass High School Wednesday night.
There, Obama tried to use his inexperience in Washington to his advantage.
“There’s one thing John McCain and said that I really do agree with. He said the reason we haven’t had an energy policy is because for 30 years politicians in Washington have been talking a good game but they have not been doing much. They’ve been servicing the special interest. John McCain and I agree on that. The thing he failed to point out is John McCain has been there 25 of those 30 years.“, says Obama.
After Lynchburg, Obama headed to Richmond.
He will campaign around the capital region with Governor Tim Kaine Thursday, fueling more speculation Kaine could be chosen as Obama’s running mate.
