Lynchburg, Va. — Virginia’s Region 2000 Technology Council will host a Wired Wednesday luncheon on April 23 at Merritt Hall on the campus of CVCC, from noon - 1:30 p.m.
The guest speaker will be NASA employee John Emond, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator from the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) for Technology Transfer. He will address how local companies may work with the FLC.
The FLC is chartered by Congress to foster the transfer of technology from federal research labs to other agencies, state and local governments, academia, and the private sector. It is a gateway to more than 700 major federal laboratories and centers and their parent departments and agencies.
The cost is $10 for Tech Council members and $15 for non-members, and includes lunch. Please RSVP to or call the Tech Council at (434) 847-1447 to reserve your space.
