River Ridge mall will get a new 14-screen movie theater, mall officials said today.
Value City, a discount retailer and one of the mall’s anchors, will close. In its place will be built the “Regal River Ridge Stadium 14,” a 56,000 square-foot theater with 2,400 seats.
Also going in that space will be 16,000 square feet of “specialty stores.”
“The existing smaller theatre at River Ridge Mall will remain open during the new construction that is expected to begin this fall and be completed in 2009,” mall officials said in a news release.
