A 10 On Your Side traffic alert. The Virginia Department of Transportation is reporting an accident on its website. It happened on US 221 (Forest Road) at its intersection of Route 1427 (Vista Centre Drive). A tree went down. That caused a railroad gate to break. The intersection and tracks are closed while crews clean up the damage. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and expect delays.
