Seven Arrested On Drug Charges

Several Bedford County residents were indicted on drug charges last month.
A special Bedford County grand jury met March 14 and handed down 29 indictments against seven people after an investigation by the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release from the office on Monday.
Lisa Mae Sines, 40, of Bedford has been charged with four counts of distributing marijuana, three counts of distributing cocaine and two counts of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
James Edward Sines Jr., 48, of Bedford is charged with four counts of distributing marijuana and one count of conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Thomas Eldridge Nelms, 21, of Bedford is charged with four counts of distribution of cocaine.
James Leslie Presnell, 45, of Moneta is charged with one count of possession of a schedule I controlled substance (heroin), and two counts of possession of a firearm while in possession of heroin.
Michael Todd Williams, 35, of Goodview is charged with one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of a firearm while in possession of cocaine.
Quincy Dion Thomas, 33, is charged with five counts of distribution of cocaine.
Manual Travis O’Neal, 42, of Moneta is charged with manufacturing marijuana.
Except for Thomas, who remains in the Bedford County Jail, all have been released on bond.
