Clerk in critical condition after gas station shooting

A man shot Thursday night is still in critical condition. Six Lynchburg residents were arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery and other associated charges. Five of those arrested are juveniles.

A man shot Thursday night on Campbell Avenue is still in critical condition in the Lynchburg General Hospital neurology unit, a hospital spokesperson said Sunday night.
Abderrahin Elfilali, who works as a clerk at the Citgo service station at 3618 Campbell Ave., was shot in the head during a robbery Thursday night, police said.
Six Lynchburg residents were arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery and other associated charges. Five of those arrested are juveniles.

Lynchburg Police say they have identified six suspects in the shooting of a clerk and robbery at a Citgo gas station from Thursday night.
Officers have also named the victim. He is Abderrahin Elfilali. Police tell us Elfilali is in critical condition at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Here are the six suspects Lynchburg investigators are looking for:
Suspect #1 - Kionne Lyndale Pulley of Reusens Rd. Lynchburg, age 20. He faces charges of: Aggravated malicious wounding, Robbery, and 2 counts of Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Suspect #2 - Juvenile, white male, charged with aggravated malicious wounding and armed robbery.
Suspect #3 - Juvenile, black male, charged with aggravated malicious wounding and armed robbery.
Suspect #4 - Juvenile, black male, charged with aggravated malicious wounding and armed robbery.
Suspect #5 - Juvenile, black male, charged with armed robbery, aggravated malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Suspect #6 - Juvenile, black male, charged with armed robbery.
Officers did not say whether any of the six had been arrested already.

Lynchburg Police say officers raided a home in Triangle Place off of Seabury Avenue before 10:00 a.m.
Officers did not find anyone inside.
Investigators have still not named any suspects, and did not have an update on the condition of the store clerk who was shot.

A Citgo gas station on Campbell Avenue was robbed and its clerk shot last night, police said.
Lynchburg police arrived at the station, at 3618 Campbell Avenue, at about 10:24 p.m. last night. Witnesses said three men entered the store and one pointed a gun at the clerk.
The clerk was later taken to the hospital with an apparent gunshot wound, police said.
Corey Harmon said he walked into the store and saw the victim lying on the floor.
“When I pulled up, weren’t nobody here,” Harmon said. “… I tried to talk to him, keep him conscious while I was there, with nobody in the store, and that was pretty much it. ... I called as soon as I realized what had happened, that he had been robbed.”
Priscilla Brown arrived at the store and saw the victim being taken away by medics
“Blood was all over his head, his face, and I couldn’t tell if he was moving or not,” Brown said.
