A suspect in a deadly shooting turns himself in to Lynchburg Police Saturday night.
Police say Marcious Cousins turned himself in just before 10:00 p.m. at the police department.
Cousins is charged with first degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
This all stems from a shooting on April 20th, outside the Super 8 Motel on Candlers Mountain Road. 24-year-old Michael Colton Blanchard Junior was shot, and later died of his injuries.
Police say the search for Cousins reached as far as Fredericksburg and its surrounding jurisdictions, where he said they believe Cousins was staying.
He is being held without bond at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center.
