Three people were arrested Monday on drug possession charges, and police say they used an Amherst home to sell and distribute drugs.
Police searched 156 Town Court Lane in Amherst and seized what they suspect is crack cocaine, powdered cocaine, drug paraphernalia and money.
Jermaine Tyrone Neal, 23, and Calvin Alffonse Terry, 29, both of Lynchburg, were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Tacoma Lee Woods, 46, of Amherst, was charged with possession of cocaine.
Neal and Terry are held in the Amherst County jail without bond. Woods was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
The Amherst Police Department, Virginia Department of Alcohol Beverage Control and Virginia State Police are handling the case.
