Tractor-Trailer crash blocks Rt. 460 in Bedford County

VDOT says a tractor-trailer crash blocked the Westbound lanes of Rt. 460 at its intersection with Merriman Road, in Bedford County for most of the day.
The location of the crash is about 15 miles West of Lynchburg.
Pictures taken by WSLS employee Brandon Benoit show a tanker truck and a tractor-trailer collided.
VDOT detoured cars into the Eastbound lanes, beginning about one half mile west of Route 784, (Triggs Road), and ending about 0.2 miles west of Route 715, (Krantzs Corner).
