Fireworks are canceled and scaled back locally and across the country

For the past two years the Green HIll park firework display was worth $10,000, but this year they’ve cut back and so have many places all across the U.S.

Light day of holiday travel in the area, but State Troopers remain busy

Things were relatively light Friday on the roads in our area despite the holiday weekend.  Many travellers making their way through our area said they were surprised with how easy the trip was on the highway, “Very light, heading north seemed to be heavier than heading south. I expected more traffic” says Marlin Foulds of Pennsylvania.
