The city of Galax named Christina Shackelford as Director of the Chestnut Creek School of the Arts and Penny Moseley as Associate Director for the school. 

Former Cop Pleads Guilty to DUI

State Police say officer Andrew Page crashed his cruiser into a guard rail. A breathalyzer taken at the jail showed his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
