A ride to honor the memories of EMS workers turns into a crime scene.

The Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad (BVRS) says their vehicle escorting riders in the Emergency Medical Services Memorial Bike Ride was broken into this morning in Annapolis, Maryland.

The crew found a window smashed, and two GPS units stolen.

The BVRS tells us a father and son team are riding in this year’s event.  They’re riding in the part of the event that goes from New York City to Roanoke.
