The United Way of Montgomery, Radford, and Floyd along with local businesses have issued a food chain challenge.
It’s all to help fill Montgomery County’s Emergency Assistance Program’s food pantry, which served more than 1,200 local families from January through September.
The challenge works by having one business commit to the challenge and then issuing a challenge to another business to participate.
It’s going on now through October 17th.
