Remembering a life that saved so many...The National Committee for Furtherance of Jewish Education has just released a short film about Virginia Tech Professor Liviu Librescu. The ten-minute video, called “Courage Under Fire” highlights Librescu’s past as a child-survivor of the holocaust, his life in communist Romania and the events that led to his final act of heroism. The film includes interviews with Librescu’s family, Virginia Tech faculty members and some of the students he helped save.
