The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch through this evening for:
Amherst Co., Bedford City, Bedford Co., Botetourt Co., Campbell Co., Carroll Co., Floyd Co., Franklin Co., Grayson Co., Henry Co., Patrick Co., Pittsylvania Co., Roanoke City, Roanoke Co., Rockbridge Co., and Salem through this evening
The remnant of Tropical Storm Fay are expected to bring another one to three inches of rain. Parts of the region have already seen at least four inches of rain.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Patrick County until 1:45 p.m. Locations include Rocky Know recreation area, Woolwine, Meadows of Dan, Stuart, Charity, and Buffalo Ridge.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Danville, SW Pittsylvania Co. until 2:15 p.m.
The Flash Flood Warning for Henry Co. and Martinsville has been cancelled as of 12:03 p.m.
