Court records show authorities in Washington D.C. have charged a former Radford University student with a form of child pornography.
Documents on file in U.S. District Court’s western division in Roanoke show Kevin Noblette with “knowingly transported in interstate commerce to the District of Columbia by means of a computer, child pornography…“
Noblette’s facebook.com profile shows he graduated from Radford last May.
The records claim Noblette is accused of chatting with an undercover police officer about child pornography beginning in December of 2006.
The documents claim Noblette inquired about buying a 5 to 12 year old girl for sex on December 13, 2006.
The records also claim Noblette sent the undercover officer several images of child pornography on May 6, 2008.
A judge declined to release Noblette from the Roanoke City Jail at a hearing this afternoon in Roanoke.
