Giles Co. man admits to counterfeiting

A Giles County man admits to making fake money.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office say Jonathan Williams from Pembroke pleaded guilty to making counterfeit money in Roanoke Federal District Court today.

Investigators with the Secret Service charged Williams back on February 7th with four counts of uttering, and one count of counterfeiting.

Williams faces up to 40 years in prison.  He’s scheduled to be sentenced in August.
