Driving a tanker truck or *any* 18-wheeler takes special skills and comes with a big responsibility.

Alliance Tractor Trailer Training Centers have been preparing men and women for the trucking industry since 1981.

So far, more than 85,000 students have been successfully trained by Alliance.

Instructor Sammy Cregger says one of the biggest points in his lessons is safety. “Everyday we have to put up with general public, other motorists, that’s the biggest danger, people pulling out in front of you, cutting you off, you just have to be on your toes at all times.”

During a four week course, Alliance teaches basic safety tips to prevent accidents like keep your eyes on the road, keep a safe following distance and most importantly, anticipate anything that could go wrong.
