A local man accused of stealing a car in Wythe county didn’t make his arrest an easy one.
Police say after stealing the car, 41-year-old Dennis Taylor drove it to Pulaski County.
When officers there caught up to him he ran into some nearby woods.
They later found Taylor in an abandoned house.
He’s charged with driving under the influence, refusing a breathalyzer and breaking and entering.
Police say he also used the victim’s checks in Bland County.
