Arnheim, the home of Doctor John Radford, is being restored one project at a time.

Earlier this year, workers put on a new roof.  Now, the home received a grant to fix the windows.

Restorers say once this project is finished, they still have much more work ahead.

“We need to start on the interior.  There’s a lot of painting and we need to add air conditioning.  There’s a lot of different interior restoration that needs to be done,” said John Barksdale, Radford Heritage Foundation Executive Director.

Barksdale added the home will open up as a local historical research facility.  They hope to have everything finished by 2011.
