Blacksburg Police arrest a man they say called in a false report.
Police were called to the 300 block of Givens Lane on July 4th around 5:30 p.m. They say the man told them he had been robbed. After investigating, police found out he made it up to cover up some issues he was having at work.
22-year-old Matthew Hudgins of Blacksburg is charged with filing a false report.
He is scheduled to be in court on July 31st.
