A driver was ejected from his vehicle before it rolled several times and burst into flames on I-81 in Wythe County. The single-vehicle accident occured at approximately 7:35 a.m. near exit 73, according to Capt. Donnie Widner of Wytheville Fire Department. State police say driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported by ambulance to Wytheville, where it was uncertain if he was transported to another hospital. The Wytheville Fire Department, Wythe County Rescue Squad and Virginia State Police all responded to the call, Widner said.
