Local high school students get a crash course in what can happen if they drink and drive. This afternoon, The New River Valley Driving School held a mock DUI crash drama called “Shattered Dreams” at Christiansburg High School.
With graduation right around the corner, organizers hope it drives home the message that driving under the influence is the wrong choice and could kill them.
The driving school also brought in a make-up artist to make the students look like they’ve been in a real accident. “The graphical image you get from this is just remarkable,” says Christiansburg student Nathan St. Clair. “I think it will work wonders.”
The driving school also took before and after pictures of the accident victims.
