Mark A. Stock spent Monday night, July 21st, sleeping in his van behind the Max Meadows firehouse. The 51-year-old Fairport, N.Y., resident awoke early Tuesday morning and got out of his vehicle to enjoy the view and his coffee.
That’s when his trouble began.
A firefighter inside the building happened to notice the naked man outside and called the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office.
“The man was still standing there when the deputy pulled up,” Sheriff Doug King reported. “He charged him with indecent exposure.”
According to King, Stock was taken before a magistrate and asked to be tried that day. His request was granted and Stock pleaded guilty in general district court.
The man was fined $150 plus court costs. He paid the amount and left the county.
“He was wearing clothes for his court appearance,” the sheriff noted.
