NRV mall back-to-school shopping spree contest

How would you like to win $250 for your back-to-school shopping and appear in fashion ad?
   
Well, thanks to a contest at the New River Valley Mall in Christiansburg you can have both!

The back-to-school contest kicks off tomorrow.
   
All you have to do is buy an outfit at the mall,  create what you think is the most stylish fashion and upload a picture to the mall’s website.

Looking for some extra spending money for your back-to-school shopping? On top of that, want to have your photo appear in a back-to-school fashion ad? New River Valley Mall is giving local teens a chance to win both during its A+ for Style Back-to-School Photo Contest beginning Friday, August 1. A keen eye for fashion, outside-of-the-box creativity and instinctive camera presence is what it will take to become the winner of the online photo contest. Are you fashion-savvy enough to earn the bragging rights among all your friends? Online voters will decide who makes the cut.

Assemble, coordinate and accessorize your best back-to-school outfit purchased at New River Valley Mall, find a digital camera and stage what you think is the most stylish fashion ad. Upload your photos to New River Valley Mall’s website by midnight on Sunday, August 17 and see how many votes you receive! The winner will receive a $250 Mall Gift Card and will be featured in a back-to-school fashion ad. In addition, each voter will be entered to win the grand prize of a $1,000 shopping spree. Encourage your friends, family, neighbors and teachers to vote once a day beginning Monday, August 18. You can even vote for yourself!

“We want to give teens an outlet to express themselves as individuals while showing off their sense of style, originality and photo talents,” says Rhonda Willson, Mall Marketing Director. “We’re eager to see what artistic ideas these students come up with. This is also a great way for shoppers to see what’s hot for back-to-school.”

A+ for Style Back-to-School Photo Contest Details:

• Submit a photo of yourself or one with your friends, wearing this season’s hottest fashions purchased at New River Valley Mall;

• Visit New River Valley Mall’s website at http://www.shopnewrivervalleymall.com and click on the top link to submit your photo;

• Photos that adhere to Official Contest Rules/Photo Submission Guidelines will be uploaded for voting.

• Be sure to briefly describe your outfit and list which mall stores you made purchases for your A+ style;

• Entries must be submitted to New River Valley Mall’s website by midnight on Sunday, August 17;

• Individuals can vote once each day beginning Monday, August 18 through Monday, September 1;

• The photo with the most votes wins–the winner will receive a $250 Mall Gift Card and will have their photo featured in a back-to-school ad for mall
