Radford University is getting a major facelift worth $211 million dollars. If you walk or drive around campus you’ve probably seen some of the projects under construction like the more than $22 million Fine Arts Center. It’s scheduled to open in October and there are plenty of other new facilities on the way.
“Right now the construction is a little bit of an inconvenience,” says RU Freshman Daniel Sestito. “It gets a little in the way, but I know it’s going to be worth it in the long run. We’re supposed to be getting a new fitness center...and a lot of students are excited about the new parking deck because parking is a big inconvenience on campus right now.”
Other future construction projects at Radford University include a new building for the College of Business and Economics, as well as, the College of Science and Technology.
