Senator Jim Webb comments on Volvo and Union deal

Virginia Senator Jim Webb issued the following statement about the successful labor negotiations between Volvo and UAW Local 2069 in Pulaski County:
“I am very pleased to see that workers at the New River Valley plant and Volvo Trucks North America recently resolved their contract differences. This has been a trying time for the workers’ families and the Dublin community. I was gratified to be informed that the workers will soon be back on the job with proper benefits and that Volvo Trucks North America will remain a competitive company.“
