Three men arrested trying to steal copper cable

Three men are arrested after police catch them trying to steal copper from Citizen’s Cable in Wythe County.
It happened last Friday.
Travis Davis, Joshua Byrson, and Joshua Hughes are charged with possession of burglary tools, felony destruction of property and larceny with intent to sell.
Investigators tell us a deputy was sitting across the road when he saw the three men acting very suspicious.
Police say they had already cut the cable worth an estimated $2,500.
