A spokesman with Volvo says the company has been contacted by the United Auto Workers local 2069 in Dublin, and will go back into negotiations.
A date has not been set for when negotiations will resume.
Union members say their major concerns are over job security, safety protection, and health benefits.
The strike began midnight January 31st, when the three year contract between the union and Volvo expired.
