Jarrett Lane Memorial golf tournament raises money for scholarships

Jarrett Lane was one of the April 16, 2007 shooting victims at Virginia Tech. 48 people signed up on teams to honor the fallen Hokie. It was held at Castle Rock Golf and Recreation in Pembroke.

When Randa Samaha arrived at the University of Virginia, she figured she’d spend the next several years focused on earning her nursing degree and then possibly head home to work at a Northern Virginia hospital.  Samaha’s plans, however, were abruptly changed on April 16th.
