For now all of the memorials will stay on the Drill Field and inside the Squires Student Center for all to view, but may be moved.

The university is working to preserve and archive all of the condolences, postcards and messages.

The how, when and where has yet to be determined, but Mark Owczarski, director of news and information, says Tech is getting help from the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. "They contacted us. Very early on in the process we knew that we wanted to capture all of these sentiments, gifts and wishes."

Tech leaders say one of the biggest challenges of preserving everything is the weather. That's why most of the items were moved to the Squires Student Center to prevent damage.
