Banners From Across Nation Sent to Squires

Universities from across the country are sending condolence banners to Virginia Tech.
Handwritten messages of hope came from such places as Clemson University, South Dakota State University, and the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
Most are displayed at the university's Squires Students Center.
Local elementary and middle schools also sent similar banners.
A Tech spokesperson at Squires said they plan to archive and store all of the banners at the semester's end.
The displays are open to the public and can be seen on every floor.
