People are doing whatever they can to help after Monday's shooting at Virginia Tech.
Blacksburg community leaders and high school students put together a tent called "Hands That Heal". The group has been on the Virginia Tech Drillfield since Wednesday collecting palm prints.
"It really helps you not focus on the negative. It brings out hope and inspiration to a community. It shows how everyone's coming together with just a palm print," said Olivia Coleman.
Over 1,000 people have taken part in the project. The panels will be donated to the University.
