Churches across the area honored the students killed at Virginia Tech.  Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Church was no different.

The Lebanese church held it's service to honor all of the students, but particularly Reema Samaha and Ross Alameddine, who were both Lebanese.

Members of the church say what happened at Virginia Tech has come as a big shock to the Lebanese community.  That's why the church's pastor says this is a time to turn to faith.

"When we are sad and confused and tormented, Jesus holds us so close to his heart and carries us through all these difficulties.  We are not alone," said Father Rodolph Wakim.

Members of the church plan to attend both students' funerals.
