Several people have written notes of forgiveness to Seung-Hui Cho.
Cho shot and killed 32 people on Tech's campus April 16th, and then turned a gun on himself.
The letters were left at his memorial stone in front of Burruss Hall. The university moved the letters inside the Old Dominion Room at Squires Students Center to protect them from the weather.
The university moved all memorials inside Squires it thought might get damaged from the rain.
Most are notes expressing forgiveness to Cho and condolences to his family.
One simply reads "I forgive you..." It was written on a note card.
Another reads, "we forgive you because we've been forgiven and you certainly had no idea of what you were doing." The message is signed with the initials M.E.Q.
At least one of the letters seem to want Cho to know he did not break the campus' spirit.
"Cho. You greatly underestimated our strength, courage, and compassion," it reads. "You have broken our hearts but you have NOT broken our spirits."
The note is signed "Erin J."
