Debbie Martin hung a couple of bows outside her husband's business on Boonsboro Road. Soon the parking lot was overflowing with people wanting them.
The martins have raised about $2,000 for the hokie memorial fund. They plan to keep making them as long as there is a demand.
"We'll keep doing them as long as people want them. it's a good cause and just because that one day of the color day is over doesn't mean that the tragedy isn't still close in our minds," says Marrtin.
The bows are $20.00, wooden stakes with ribbons are $5.00, and lapel ribbons are $1.00.
