For days, no one knew who added this stone, which is now covered with flowers. Wednesday night, the student responsible for Cho's stone told Newschannel 10 why she felt it was necessary it be added.
"It's not just about placing it there in his memory. It's for all of the people who did love him and care about him and showing respect to those family members and the people who lost him. There are not 32 families, there are 33 families and they all need our support," Katelynn Johnson said.
There have been reports that Cho's stone was stolen or removed. The student says the stone she placed there last week has not moved, but she believes some of the name markers have, which may have led some to believe the stone was stolen.
