As the Drill Field on campus continues to be a place for Hokie healing and support, many students say returning to the class room on Monday with help with the process.

Jacy Jacob, a sophomore says "Everybody heals differently but there's no wrong way to do it and I think that everybody should try to go to class but it's completely understandable if they can't do it. But I think it shows a lot of strength for a lot of us to come back and talk about it."

Senior Kevin Sami says there's no other way he'd rather begin to heal "It's going to be hard to get back to normal, I lost some of my friends, but you have to get back to normal, you have to have to move on so. It's the only way we can get back to normal and we have to be strong 'cause we're the Hokies."

University officials have left it up to students on how they wish to finish their semester. Students can choose to be graded on their work prior to last Monday and or any other work they wish to submit for a grade. They can also choose to complete the course.
