The leaders of a new church on Worsham Street are taking an active role in the community, and getting to know their new neighbors through free community days complete with food, a summer program for children and working with the police to help reduce crime.

Police are talking to two men possibly involved with an early morning robbery Monday on Richmond Road. 

Police have charged a Danville man with breaking and entering a Cherry Lane home Sunday evening.

Police in Danville search for a suspect in an early morning break-in

Back on May 7th, officers say a woman was getting into her vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot around 10:00 p.m.  The victim told police that someone grabbed her purse, and pulled her over a shopping cart, and on to the pavement.
